Hi all. Happy month of August..AUGUSTUS' MONTH lol. Anyway, let me get right into the meaning of that titlte.
Saints are as our forum heading says 'Saviors Of Mini CB'. That does not necessarily mean that you have to be the absolutely BESt at the game. But I see less and less Saints playing mini CB. In recent months I have dropped many biased views of store and played it more often (even though) I still think the name of any store version should be called 'Martel Wars' as it nullifies 70% of civ attributes and eventually becomes a Heavy cavalry war), but we should still make every effort to try and perfect our craft as stated.
So whether you are hosting store, classic, excalibur or the new crusades map, just try to purport mini cb as this is our clan motto.
A great way to get better at any of those maps is by hosting or participating in a King conquest ffa. It helps you become very 'Hero Aware' as attacks can come from all sides in all shapes and forms.

Did you guys know that the month of August was named after the emperor Augustus Ceasor and July is after Julius Ceasor. Lol, I seem to love those "us" ending names.
I am going to be playing Saint maps now. Fork has Created a Store map and I have a Classic map dawning really fast that I have made from Complete scratch. In the past few days, I have spent countless hours scrolling through Map Editor and Aokts on my Labtop. When I get to my dads labtop. I'll let you see the basics of it. I still have alot of triggers to handle, but I have all of the imp, chemistry, Defeated Castle, paladins, Hero Upgrades, and a few 0ther trigs done and ready for test. After some testing, I will move onto the Kill Rewards, but keep on a lookout for the new map.

Nice Cruz! I would be happy to see another saint map. Yeah I agree aug, that Mini CB Store is all about martels and +10 for range units. That is why I decided to make my own store map, where many different units are purchased.

I would like to reiterate the importance of playing these and other Mini cb maps. I have played with several Saints in different scenarios, and in many cases their skills are just not up to par. Most know how to use a martel, and a Hero that has no aim. Continue to plaay Mini cb's that retain core values of the map, and is not watered down with stores.
Most store maps devalue/degrade the greatness of civilizations such as persia, teutons, aztecs, Goths, Vikes, huns, byz, japs...practically all civs without a missile attack. These are great civs with great attributes especially when they imp. But stores relegate their significance to nil, as in some cases their early imp cannot be achieved becasue of a martel, or a hun rush is useless because of a martel, or Persia is simply a really big slow teut for a martel. This is and has alwasy been my beef with store is that it negates the greatness of these civs and the complexity of the game. Even some of these smaller civs that have to depend upon a hero for survival early are relegated in that a hero can be killed early by a martel.
I am not saying stop playing store, but I am saying play more regular CB's and learn the power of some of these civs u consider 'weak' such as vikes, goths, teuts, and aztecs.
